About CartQu
CartQu is a multi-tenant e-commerce platform that helps merchants launch and manage online stores easily. We provide modern tools for selling online through branded stores, shared product distribution, and a central marketplace experience. As we scale, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the direction of our platform and drive meaningful outcomes for our merchants and customers.
Role Overview
As a Product Manager at CartQu, you will own the product roadmap and work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to deliver features that matter. You will deeply understand merchant and buyer needs, translate them into clear requirements, and ship products that grow the business.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for CartQu platform features.
- Gather and prioritize requirements from merchants, customers, internal teams, and market research.
- Write clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Work with the design team to create intuitive, merchant-friendly experiences.
- Define and track KPIs to measure product success and iterate accordingly.
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay current with e-commerce and marketplace trends.
- Manage the product backlog and facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Communicate product updates, launches, and progress to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve merchant onboarding, store management, and order workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a SaaS or e-commerce environment.
- Strong ability to translate complex problems into simple, actionable product solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing.
- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and sprint-based workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive product decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Experience writing clear PRDs, user stories, and product specifications.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a fast-moving startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms or marketplace products.
- Familiarity with e-commerce concepts: stores, orders, inventory, payments, and shipping.
- Experience with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
- Technical background or ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers.
- Experience with the MENA e-commerce market.
